Chandler, Arizona – June 17, 2008 -- Sense Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: SNSG) today announced that its flagship product ScopeOut®, vehicle blind-zone safety mirrors, will debut on HSN starting August 2008. ScopeOut® will appear during HSN’s popular Garage segment, which will air August 7 at 2 a.m. EDT, 9 a.m. EDT and 2 p.m. EDT.
Sense Technologies Vice President of Operations Lowell Martinson, the inventor of ScopeOut®, will present ScopeOut® on-air and will explain how it enhances driver safety, how easily it installs, and how effective it is at eliminating vehicle blind spots while changing lanes in traffic or reversing out of parking spots. Initially, three segments are planned to introduce ScopeOut® to HSN shoppers within a 24-hour period.
According to Sense Technologies President Bruce Schreiner, “We are thrilled to be affiliated with the original shopping network on television. We think that having multiple opportunities to present ScopeOut® to the millions of faithful HSN audience members will play a crucial role in helping to get the word out about this valuable solution for eliminating driver blind spots. ScopeOut® solves problems that all drivers can relate to, so we’re confident it will rapidly gain popularity with viewers.”
ScopeOut®, www.sensetech.com, is a cross-view mirror safety system that protects drivers when reversing out of parking areas or changing lanes in traffic. The inconspicuous lightweight polymer unit installs on the interior of the vehicle’s rear window, where it provides drivers with an expansive, lateral view of potential dangers, such as children, bicyclists, pets or fast-moving traffic approaching the rear and sides of the vehicle. The technology offers drivers an expanded field of vision in both directions to help avoid accidents. Affordably priced ScopeOut® works in conjunction with other safety systems, such as cameras or sensors, or functions effectively as a stand-alone device.
