Sense Technologies, Inc. was created in 1997 to develop, manufacture, and market products that enhance vehicular safety while backing up. Our crusade is the safety of children first, then adults, and then property, around backing vehicles. We know how difficult it is to see out of most newly designed vehicles, and have sought to cost-effectively produce products to increase a driver’s awareness while decreasing the likelihood of blind spot accidents.

To illustrate what a driver can’t see behind a given vehicle, park it at night and put a lamp in the driver’s seat with the unshaded light bulb at approximately the driver’s head height, and turn it on. See where the light hits the pavement behind the vehicle. Everything on the ground that is dark from the back of the vehicle to that point is UNSEEN by the driver.

We have worked for almost a decade developing products to help drivers save lives, especially those of children. Our goal is to do it in a way that produces products which are safe, effective and affordable. You can be the judge as to whether we succeeded.
